Hyundai Motors

With outdoor movement coming to standstill, how is the automobile industry coping up in this pandemic?

I recently came across the ad of Hyundai Motor India Ltd. encouraging consumers to try their “Click to buy” platform, a complete end-to-end online car buying solution that enables customers to purchase cars from the convenience of their homes.

They follow 3 simple steps i.e Select & Configure, Quotation and Finance, Get delivery at your doorstep.

Some added features included in the platform are availability of 360-degree external and internal views of the car, safe & sanitised cars for test drive.

Four months after launching this platform, there are quite a few interesting results.

🍢 1.5 million visitors, 20,000 vehicle enquiries and over 1,900 confirmed vehicle bookings though the website
🍢 Integrated over 600 dealerships to maintain the retail touch
🍢 Most of the bookings came for the newly launched Hyundai Creta which emerged as the top-selling SUV in the country

Hyundai made sure not to compromise on the consumer buying experience.

Does this not help a brand getting attention by consumers who would consider them while planning to buy/upgrade the car?

Max Fashion

Have you been to a retailer store during these difficult times?

Well, I visited the Max Fashion India store in my city to buy some clothes. During billing, I was surprised to see that there was no paper bill.

Just share your number, get the invoice bill and other queries solved directly in Whatsapp.

Also, the bill is designed in the way, original bills are meant to be. Perhaps, the reason can be to bring in the same experience you have while going out which can differentiate it from the ordinary e-commerce bill.

Yes, this is important. Do you know that 85 M tons of paper waste is created each year and 6.25 M gallons of water is consumed every year to produce receipts and bill? 😡

Also, these can’t be recycled due to chemicals like BPA which it is treated with during productions. (The same reason why they lose out colours after some days) 😔

But Digital Documents can save 1.4 Tn pounds of paper. (7,28,000 trees)😍

What a good alternative 😊!!

WhatsApp for business APIs is picking up fast for Indian brands and can fuel the WhatsApp Pay growth once it tackles the alleged breach of regulations and gets a go ahead from the RBI.

With so many payments platform, do you think WhatsApp can succeed in beating some of it's peer competitors given it's large user base.
